Calling all stitchers, makers, hackers, and embroiderers in Birmingham! 

You're invited to help stitch Portability for the Craftspace touring exhibition 'We Are Commoners' launching next year.

Introductory Talk & Workshop Wed 11 November 2020, 6-7pm

Stitching Together Online: Wed 2 December 2020, 6-7pm

Sessions will be held on Zoom. BSL interpretation available.

In 2020 the Embroidered Digital Commons will feature in the 'We Are Commoners' touring exhibition curated by Craftspace. The exhibition launches at the Oriel Davies Gallery in Newtown, Wales in April 2021 will tour throughout the UK during 2021-2022, and is part of the Crafting the Commons Research network supported by the AHRC. 'Portability' will be stitched by people in Birmingham and presented in the exhibition alongside 'Fractal'.
